General Manager: Mehdi Zorgani

A world traveler, epicurean and lover of life, Mehdi Zorgani was born and raised in France, although his parents are Tunisian, Mady - as he likes to be called was inspired by the sights and sounds of his Mediterranean youth and by his uncle's passion for hospitality.

Mehdi completed his externship at the Ritz carlton hotel company while pursuing his degree in hospitality management at George Washington University. Following graduation and several years working with various upscale corporate food service groups such as The Ritz Carlton inc, Daily grill inc and Capital restaurant concepts in different capacities, he lead with his knowledge of fine foods and spirits Neyla Restaurant in Georgetown before coming to MaxMara Cafe Inc. in Chevy chase, Maryland as our general manager.

Currently, Mehdi supervises and coordinates all financial and operational matters for both Sette Osteria restaurant, and Mcafe bar restaurant, as well as public relations and marketing campaigns.

He brings his creative expertise and fine attention to detail to design the perfect event for every guest along with an extraordinary understanding of the importance of service and professionalism to creating an unsurpassed dining experience.

Mehdi keeps it simple, saying ,"I've worked in a lot of good places and learned from a lot of good people, so I know what's good. The restaurant is a destination where, special occasion or no, guests expect to be served good food and have a good time. My job is to make sure that happens and my ultimate goal is to see everyone happy. That's me!
